Instructional Design Intern - Summer 2024

The Education team at Coveo is responsible for creating training material to inform our partners and clients on new product features and how to navigate through the Coveo platform. They are also tasked with creating product related content for internal audiences.

As an intern in the Education team, you will act as a key resource in the design, development, and delivery of learning products linked to our strategic priorities. This includes working collaboratively with other Instructional Designers (IDs), production specialists, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design learning content using adult learning principles and sound Instructional Design methodologies. 

• You will contribute to the design and development of modular digital learning curriculums, interactive elements, and assessments that leverage adult learning best practices to maximize learner retention.
• You will conduct needs analysis with various stakeholders
• You will create engaging interactive visual elements for courses. 
• You will actively engage with your team members to provide new ideas and ways of doing things

• Currently enrolled in a degree in Education Technology, Interaction Design program. 
• You have adequate knowledge of Instructional Design methodologies and modular learning curriculum development
• You have knowledge of eLearning tools, particularly Adobe Captivate, video and audio editing tools (e.g., Camtasia, Audacity), and Learning Management Systems
• You have a strong sense of ownership; you are always finding ways to learn and keeping up with current trends. 

• You have completed at least one internshipin a similar role 
• You have prior experience with graphic design, video, micro-learning, gamification, simulations, animation/motion graphics an asset
• You have prior experience working within a commercial function an asset
• You have strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to manage up when encountering challenges
• You pay high-level attention to detail and accuracy in the execution of work and tasks
