Southeast College is currently recruiting qualified instructors for the 2024/2025 Business Diploma program!
This position provides instruction on Southeast College Weyburn campus and will be responsible for broad range of accountabilities.
Provide instruction to students enrolled in Business programs.
Complete and plan for all course-required materials including attendance records and course evaluations.
Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using appropriate instructional methodologies.
Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students.
Maintain and ensure a positive, diverse, respectful, and inclusive work and learning environment.
Adhere to and promote academic regulations and College policies and procedures.
Maintain current knowledge on area of instruction.
React to immediate and changing needs of students.
Provide suggestions for improving program instruction and operating procedures.
Communicate frequently with students, and other College staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Attend all meetings and in-service training as needed.
Qualifications:
Effective communications & interpersonal skills
Value diversity and a team player
Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail MS Office Suite software and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
Education and Experience
1. Four-year bachelor's degree in commerce or administration; OR equivalent degree; OR related 4-year degree with major or related experience OR Business diploma with Education degree with related experience
2. Two years recent/relevant work experience in business environment in the specialty area to be taught.
3. Project Management Professional certification preferred.
