Instrument Technician

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain a variety of instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and logic diagrams
- Use AutoCAD to create or modify electrical drawings
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Fabricate or modify instrument components as needed using CNC machines or other tools
- Test instruments for accuracy and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or related field
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and logic diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage, and mechanical principles
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Experience using AutoCAD for creating or modifying electrical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve instrument issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
