Instrumentation Assembler
Position Description:
Reporting to our Production Manager our Instrumentation Assemblers are responsible for assembling a variety of geotechnical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble product parts by hand according to work orders and assembly drawings
- Reading and interpreting work orders and assembly drawings
- Record and report issues or problems with parts or equipment to supervisor
- Help keep workstation clean and free of hazardous materials
- Help keep assembly area floor clean
Qualification and Skills:
- BCIT or equivalent education or certification in an electronics discipline is preferred.
- Have previous experience working in Mechanical and Electronic assembly using soldering, wire crimping and other tools
- Computer skills including databases, spreadsheets
- General knowledge of electronics and test equipment
- Strong working knowledge of good safety practices.
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication abilities
