Job description

As a Personal Lines account manager you will be an integral part of the team. You will use your knowledge and exceptional customer service skills to engage with clients to determine their needs and provide expert advice. You will manage and maintain an established book of business including but no limited to:

- Proactively contacting insureds regarding renewals increases and re market as necessary to meet the clients needs and retain the business

- Underwrite new business according to mandated insurance company guidelines and established internal policies and procedures

- Process policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in the insurance company portals and make appropriate notes in our agency manager system

-Follow up on accounts receivables

- Create and follow up on abeyances for client and insurance company requests

- Provide a consistent positive and professional experience for our clients with timely responses to emails and phone calls

- Assist with ICBC clients at the front counter and by phone

You must have a solid background in Personal lines and be able to work in a fast paced environment with a minimum Level 1 license and the willingness to obtain a Level 2 within the first year of employment. You will be familiar with all lines of business, the insurance company portals, and both regular and specialty markets. Epic or Powerbroker preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
