As the Intermediate Accountant, you will be a key member in the accounting team. Overseeing various transactions processing such as bank reconciliations, interco entries, managing AR and collection cycles. You will be responsible for month-end and year-end close processes for multiple companies including financial reporting and analysis. Also, will have the opportunity to lead the transformation and improvement of business revenue generating online platform to achieve high accounting and taxation standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the accounting cycle of banking processes including bank entries and bank reconciliation for various banks
- Analyze contractual agreements with customers and issue invoices
- Manage Accounts Receivable & collections processes including related reporting and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of sales tax filings in various countries and jurisdictions
- Assist in the preparation of monthly variance analysis
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for multiple companies including accruals and financial reporting
- Process journal entries and perform account reconciliations for various accounts
- Assist with annual audits for various companies
- Maintain various schedules including intercompany reports and reconciliations
- Drive process improvement initiatives, ensuring process changes are appropriately implemented and documented
- Support accounting team and management with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
- Support the operations team by providing accounting treatment and tax insights
- Lead the transformation and improvement of business revenue generating online platform in order to achieve high accounting and taxation standards
What you'll need to be successful:
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast changing environment
- Excellent time management, organizational and multitask skills
- Ability to lead the projects and take initiatives
