Intermediate Accountant

Position Overview: As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department with various accounting functions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

· Perform month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data

· Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts

· Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports

· Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management

· Prepare and file various tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations

· Support audit and internal control processes, including gathering supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries

· Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

· Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
