Intermediate Staff Accountant

Company: Romanovsky and Associates LLP is a Chartered Accounting firm that provides corporate and personal tax compliance planning and services to small business and professionals.
Job Description: Your main responsibilities will be:
· Write-up/bookkeeping of annual company activity
· Preparation of annual working papers including year-end Adjusting Journal entries
· Preparation of Financial Statements
· Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns
· Preparation of Annual T4/T5 returns
· Preparation of personal tax returns
· Assisting with personal and corporate tax planning
To achieve this, you will be working as part of a team. Your work will enable the company to file corporate and personal tax returns before the deadline and assist clients with maximizing their tax savings.
Requirements and Qualifications: You will need to have a minimum 3 - 5 years of Public
Accounting Experience; this is NOT an Accounting Clerk Role.
You will be a motivated self-starter and a team player. You will have completed an undergraduate degree in business administration (B-comm or equivalent). You will have demonstrated strong skills in time management, organization and communication. It would be preferred if you have experience with:
· Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
· Quickbooks
· Caseware Working Papers
· Tax Cycle Tax Software
You will need to be available for weekend and evening work during personal tax season (March to April) and when requested on an ad-hoc basis.
We are NOT a training office. Therefore, this position may not apply for someone looking to obtain a CPA designation.
