Job description

Adecco is actively seeking an exceptionally skilled Internal Communications Advisor to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your extensive expertise within an esteemed oil and gas corporation located in Calgary, AB. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to inform internal stakeholders, fostering improved team alignment, capabilities, and engagement.

·       Location: Calgary, AB | Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day WFH)

·       Shifts: Monday to Friday | 40 hours/week

·       Job type: Full-time | 1-Year contract

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Work to ensure company culture and values are integrated into project team communications

·       Assess Internal Communications Audience needs, and develop the appropriate communication approach to meet these needs

·       Establish Internal Communications program (structure, systems, channels)

·       Develop communications plan outlining scheduled content and tactics

·       Establish communication/content subject matter experts to develop, solicit, edit content for publication

·       Develop and manage Key Messages and FAQs for internal program staff

·       Organize, schedule and manage logistics for events

·       Establish and manage internal SharePoint site (communication portion, not program folders)

·       Manage standards and tools from leader-to-team channel

·       Develop, deploy and monitor program template standards and brand

·       Provide communications guidance and coaching to project leadership

·       Provide air-traffic control for program-wide team meetings (i.e., sets up and maintains calendar of meetings led by Program Director with internal project attendees)

·       Define and measure internal communication KPIs and impact

·       Partner with Corporate Communications and Core External Comms to ensure standards are defined, adhered to and delivered.

Requirements and Qualifications: 

·       Post-secondary education in a related field is required

·       5-10 years of experience working in a communication and/or organizational change management roles is a must

·       Previous ERP program experience is necessary

·       Management consulting experience is a plus

·       Demonstrated strength in organization and multitasking, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift.

·       Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
