We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Technology Supervisor in Regina, SK.
Main responsibilities include:
Supervise and guide the department staff, ensuring optimal performance.
Responsible for providing direct, hands-on technical support and demonstrating practical knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues as part of the daily operations.
Stay updated with technological advancements to recommend and implement new solutions that cater to the IT needs of the business.
Oversee user support and helpdesk operations.
Supervise the allocation and maintenance of essential hardware (laptops, mobile devices, etc.).
Foster and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
Assist in developing and executing disaster recovery procedures and ensure consistent data backups for Internal Technology.
Champion security awareness and actively manage internal IT risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; or a mix of technical training and relevant work experience.
Three to five years' experience in a supervisory role, with a total of seven years in technology implementation and service support.
Experience in the communications industry is a plus.
Familiarity with network security applications and processes is beneficial.
