Reporting to the Manager, Digital Strategy and Recruitment, the International Systems Administrator is pivotal in overseeing and administrating the International Centre's specialized systems utilized for enrollment, recruitment, and international student management. As the primary technical point of contact, the role involves managing Salesforce-based CRMs, agent training systems, and related platforms. Daily tasks encompass research, documentation, training execution, system setup, data analysis, and resolving system issues to ensure project deadlines are met. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensures ongoing data integrity by maintaining systems effectively
  • Establishes and conducts test routines for required modifications, interfaces, conversions, and reports, followed by thorough analysis, and troubleshooting for issue resolution
  • Regularly performs database de-duping and cleanup procedures, collaborating with IT to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Works closely with IT for stable system operations and efficient support
  • Develops and updates procedural documentation for systems following operational changes
  • Acts as the subject matter expert, liaising with other departments e.g. IT, MCR, etc.) and team members within International, emphasizing consistency and integration across systems
  • Collaborates with IT to onboard and train new users or update existing users on new system features, including the creation and updating of training materials
  • Research, assess needs, and identify requirements for systems supporting the pre-application international student journey, application processes, learning management systems for education partners, and compliance platforms
  • Develop, build, test, optimize, and evaluate campaigns and functionalities within CRM, LMS, and other relevant systems that facilitate departmental goals, lead generation, and student application processes
  • Customize and build forms within CRMs to capture comprehensive information on potential students (leads), including event RSVPs, student interests, backgrounds, and compliance-related data for education partners
  • Design and implement demographic and behavioral scoring models within systems to quantify visitor interests or engagement with Georgian College
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify departmental needs for various systems, including CRM, LMS, and compliance platforms
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CRMs, LMS, and related systems, providing functional guidance to users within the International team in their daily operations
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for effective system utilization
  • Conduct thorough system analysis to gather data insights, identifying trends, and assessing system performance to support informed decision-making for international management
  • Generate comprehensive reports outlining system functionalities, user engagement, and performance metrics to aid in International enrolment strategic planning and enhancements
  • Act as a primary liaison for various system vendors, troubleshooting challenges, understanding upgrades, and enhancements across different platforms including CRMs, learning management systems, and related tools
  • Effectively communicate Georgian College International’s requirements, concerns, and performance expectations to respective vendors, ensuring alignment with the needs across multiple systems
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed to support the International department’s objectives and ensure smooth system operations and efficiency across diverse functions
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Successfully completed a three-year postsecondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant field
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills to determine issues and identify how information can be obtained
  • Excellent communication skills (both listening and verbal) to clearly understand user requirements and articulate that information clearly to IT developers
  • Effective time management skills to juggle the demands of working on multiple assignments/tasks at same time and to properly allocate time required for task
