Job description

What you'll do:
Primary Function:
To proactively act as a participant and or a lead on projects and processes related to the Edmonton Plant & Operational Excellence for all facilities across the Canadian Organization. The focus for the role will be on quality improvement activities and projects that align with corporate goals, involving multiple electrical products lines and processes in manufacturing and front-end operations.
Essential Functions:
• Assist in the development and delivery of Quality documents and Quality improvement initiatives in the workplace.
• Support Quality Manager run internal audits, customer audits & external ISO audits, followed by documentation and corrective actions.
• Engage with customer representatives in handling warranty claims and providing timely resolutions.
• Analyze and interpret data, create & compile quality documents required for Eaton's Quality Management System implementation.
• Participate in Gemba Walks, Process Checks and Lean Six Sigma problem-solving.
• Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Enrolled in a College or University program in Engineering, Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Automation
• This position does not offer relocation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior internship or co-op experience is an asset.
• Strong computer and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.

• Effective time management and project management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/changing environment.
• Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to facilitate teams/groups and work with all levels of the organization.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
