AddressInventory Allocation Analyst
Eclipse Stores Inc., a growing Canadian retailer of women's clothing with over 80 stores, is seeking an Inventory Allocation Analystin our St. John's head office. The Inventory Allocation Analyst is responsible for the effective flow of inventory, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures optimal allocation and replenishment of product to stores by analyzing sales history and trends.
- Develops custom reports, queries and spreadsheets on sales trends and inventory to determine allocations.
- Balance inventory by creating inter-store transfers of product.
- Responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of our inventory accounting system by reconciling purchases and inventory.
Desired Skills:
- University degree with a quantitative major (ie. math, science, commerce, economics).
- Knowledge of excel a definite asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately, and to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work as a team member to execute projects.
