Inventory Assistant

TCU Place is looking for detailed oriented and processed oriented member to join the team as a Inventory Assistant. This position assists with the purchasing, storing, distribution and managing all concession, beverage and bar service items. This person will be required to work during hours during the day and the evening and attend some events.

Responsibilities

• Plans and determines weekly event requirements based on requests from Event Coordinators.
• Orders, receives, sorts, moves, and records incoming Concession & Beverage (C&B) items using the purchase order system.
• Develops optimal order quantities and ensures effective inventory levels through the monitoring of stock.
• Contacts suppliers to resolve shortages, missed deliveries and other related problems.
• Assists in the maintenance of the inventory system. Assists in monthly counts of amount, kind and location of C&B on hand.
• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Stocks, and ensures adequate levels of liquor, ice and concession items in permanent and portable bars and corporate boxes.
• Responsible for ensuring all permits including event specific permits meet the SGLA regulations.
• Follows procedure for efficient disposal of all empty tanks and bottles.
• Order product to fill backstage requirements as per riders

Qualification

• Grade 12 education.
• One years' related experience.
• Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.

Hours Of Work:

The hours of work will be scheduled surrounding the needs of our events. Availability for afternoons, evenings, and weekends with flexibility is required for consideration.
