Overview

The Inventory Manageris a full-time, onsite position that defines the company’s balance of on-hand inventory vs. production demand vs. stock levels at all company retail, e-commerce – (B to C) fulfillment and 3PL distribution locations. The Inventory Manager works collaboratively with our Purchasing, Formulation, Production, Sales, and Operations areas. Proposes strategies to reduce costs based on industry best practices – Supply Chain Management and has an in-depth understanding of our internal systems and our partners.

The Inventory Manager fully understands all transactions related to inventory movement at all facilities and is eager to learn, able to pivot quickly, and solves problems logically and in a manner that exudes calm and composure. The Inventory Manager is effective in all forms of communication. This role reports to the Operations Director.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create inventory demand forecasts based on historical sales, the effects of growth, trends, promotional activities, and information gleaned from senior management regarding expansion of product lines and / or sales channels.
• Manage and define the company’s inventory levels (min/max) at all warehouses, HQ, Venice, 3PL’s and future warehouses based on product velocity, ERP reorder reports, supply planning, and marketing sales events.
• Create transfer orders for all external warehouses and company boutiques.
• Ensure inventory is ever replenished in a timely manner via data analysis.
• Work closely with production planning, production & procurement to ensure inventory of FG, Hard Stock, Raw Materials are on hand to support needs and priorities as defined by the Business.
• Wholesale Inventory + Demand: Liaise and coordinate with Wholesale Manager on demand, reorder, and ship dates. Provide detailed reporting monthly to senior management:

- Inventory on hand at the SKU level, months on hand – all inventory categories.

- Aging inventory report, inventory expiry report, slow moving inventory – all inventory
categories.

- Inventory turns report - all inventory categories.

- Additional reporting as required.

• Raw Material Inventory + Demand: Provide input on raw material and consumable demands to Formulation Director, Raw Material Manager and Purchasing Managers based on production and marketing plans to support continual flow of the company’s products.

- ERP Accuracy - Ensure that the various planning, communication, and tracking tools
within the ERP and related systems are accurately implemented and updated.
Identify, test, and implement changes within the ERP and related systems as directed
by the IT Director.

- Assess and adjust finished product Mins/Maxes based on industry best practices,
production capacity and sales history.

- On-Site Inventory - Pre-schedule cycle counts & request ad hoc counts as required,
batch enquiries.

- Out of Stock Alert Procedure - Notify key roles in marketing, formulation and
production of low stock alerts and updates required systems.
