Adecco is currently seeking a skilled full-time Inventory Reconciliation Analyst for a one-year contract role at a prestigious energy company specializing in synthetic crude production from oil sands. As an Inventory Reconciliation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in daily reconciliation of terminal physical inventory movements and addressing inventory discrepancies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute daily reconciliation of terminal physical inventory movements with SAP warehouse stock
Identify and rectify inventory discrepancies, including data transfer errors, contract term mapping discrepancies in SAP & TMS, and material mapping errors in source and target systems
Generate monthly inventory summaries and annotations, addressing reconciliation beyond Sarbanes-Oxley controls' tolerance levels, including audit investigations and annual controls testing attestation
Requirements and Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Accounting, or Business Administration
3+ years of reconciliation, inventory, or accounting experience.
Extensive knowledge of SAP, TMS Toptech, DTNTabs and other Interface systems.
Advanced knowledge in Excel (incl Macros and Visual Basic), Word, Outlook. PowerBi (preference given for advanced ability to create custom PowerBI reports) and Visio
Strong understanding of product movements and transportation logistics (rail, marine, pipeline, truck).
Strong understanding of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
Ability to analyze terminal stock reports and investigate discrepancies.
Understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to demonstrate non-authoritative leadership skills and guide others in inventory management practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong decision-making abilities.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with strict deadlines
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
