Responsibilities:
- Maintains files
- Performs clerical and other related duties as required
- Bank and account reconciliation
- Oversee and direct budgeting and financial planning
- Generating monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
- Understand key elements of client care and service
- Find ways to simplify and improve work processes
- Recognize business issues and uses alternative solutions to resolve them
- Attempt to look for ways to increase efficiency on engagement
- Seek to enhance knowledge through technical reading, continuing education
- Process Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Process issues with the accountant
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent computer skills and willingness to upgrade computer skills, as required
- Demonstrated ability to perform multi tasks in an environment where priorities can change rapidly
- Knowledge of computerized accounting, Quickbooks Online
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience for a small to midsize company
