Invoicing / Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are a sports nutrition distribution family owed company who has been existing for 40 years! With our continued growth, we are looking for 2 energetic candidates to join our team! Job Description:

• Invoice customers with accuracy and efficiency
• Verify customer’s credit to prior to releasing order
• Verify if customer meets minimum for free shipping
• Process credit card payments
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries related to billing.
• Enter new customers in system
• Perform collection calls and email clients for outstanding invoices
• Investigate any invoice or pmt discrepancy
• Apply customer payments daily and balance the deposits
• Answer telephone and direct calls to proper department ( not a high volume of calls).

Qualifications:

• Vocational diploma or DEC in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of related experience required
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook, Excel is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills; English (oral & written) required - Fluency in French not required
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability in meeting deadlines
• Detail-oriented, reliable with good organizational and problem solving skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Team player

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
