Journeypersons & Apprentices Ironworkers
To work at our BHP Potash Mine Project in Jansen, Saskatchewan.
- SALARY: $33.47- $54.67
- BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
- OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day
- LOA: N/A
- TRAVEL: Travel allowance provided

- START DATE: January 09, 2024
- SCHEDULE: 14 days on 7 days off
- HOURS PER DAY: 10.5
- PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
- SHIFT: 14/7
- DURATION: 6 Months +
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Ironworkers ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must have experience working at heights
- Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- Fabricates structural steel, ornamental work and pre-cast structures on a variety of projects
- Studies blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine the lay out of work
- Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts using simple torque and hand wrenches
- Attach cables from a crane and direct crane operators with hand signals and/or radio
- Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
- Know, understand, and operate grinders safely in accordance with safe work practices and procedures
- Ability to recognize spool hoisting point and utilize proper rigging techniques and signals while working in a fast-paced environment
- May perform other duties as assigned

Salary: $51.12 per hour
