Job Summary

The Information Management Branch (IMB) supports the Information Management and Information Technology requirements of the Ministry. IMB provides leadership, direction, support and expertise to ensure that all mandated key strategic information management and information technology projects, critical business and other initiatives are delivered in scope, on time, on budget and with the agreed upon functionality and business results. IMB responsibilities include defining and managing the application development architecture, developing and promoting digital and information technology standards, servicing client line of business information systems and managing system development projects.
As the Client Portfolio Manager, your role involves overseeing the delivery of a varied IT portfolio. You'll collaborate closely with program area staff and IMB team members, while also providing guidance to a team of Business Analysts. In this team-oriented environment, you'll lead by fostering innovation, inclusion, individual accountability, and employee engagement. Additionally, you'll build trusted relationships with both internal and external clients.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in computer science or related field.
  • Five (5) years recent experience providing business analysis for key front-line systems with complex interactive business processes and multi-ministry impacts.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring staff, including assignment of work, development and evaluation of performance plans and approval of leave.

Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the following:
  • Managing contracts.
  • Using modern agile project management practices.
