Job Summary
Bring your experience as a Full Stack Developer to this senior level position
The Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills provides leadership and direction for post-secondary education and skills training systems in British Columbia as well as labour market information and programs.
The Information Management Branch (IMB) supports the Information Management and Information Technology requirements of the Ministry. IMB provides leadership, direction, support and expertise to ensure that all mandated key strategic information management and information technology projects, critical business and other initiatives are delivered in scope, on time, on budget and with the agreed upon functionality and business results. IMB responsibilities include defining and managing the application development architecture, developing and promoting digital and information technology standards, servicing client line of business information systems and managing system development projects.
The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for leading the development and delivery of scalable web applications in a continuous deployment environment.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Experience using a variety of modern development tools, such as HTML, CSS and Javascript libraries, relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with API development and integration and continuous development environments.
