As a student, you will build lasting relationships with industry leaders, and contribute to work that will build and strengthen your skill sets. Primary duties include:

  • Conduct research and needs analysis for training on emerging IT technologies.

  • Design and assist with creation of training materials which could include infographics, eLearning, job aids, instructional videos, surveys.

  • Participate in the presentation and facilitation of instructor-led and virtual training sessions.

  • Compile, analyze and present data from surveys and end-user reports.

 
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a diploma or degree in Information Design, Adult Learning or Computer Technology.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams) is preferred.

  • Experience with eLearning software (for example: Articulate 360) and design & documentation software (for example: Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator) will be considered an asset.

  • Basic proficiency in using emerging technologies (for example: Chat GPT, Microsoft Copilot) will be considered an asset.

  • Success in this position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, adaptability, innovation, applied learning and strong research and problem-solving skills; ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

 
Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024.
  • A security clearance will be conducted.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
