Job Summary:
The IT ProjectManagement Associate is responsible to manage internal/external project.  Working closely with a partner vendor of Hyundai Capital Canada and collaborating with the internal business and IT team, the primary focus of the role is to manage and communication for Hyundai Capital Canada’s IT project and bug fixes. 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising projects and bugs that are managed by vendors and aligning schedules with internal projects and resources.

  • Assist in creating internal project plans including setting targets for milestones and deliverables.

  • Organize and Performs Vendor communications for projects and bugs and coordinate task and activities among various team members.

  • Addressing challenges & troubleshooting issues that arise during project lifecycle and making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.

  • Communicating with stakeholders to keep the project aligned with their goals.

  • Performing quality control on the project by monitoring project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to project specifications.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years related experience working within an IT field, ideally in an automotive finance environment.

  • 3+ years related experience working within a Project Management team, with actual Project Management activities.

  • Require communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Experience with traditional and agile software development practices.

  • Experience working directly with vendors to tailor and customize purchased software.

  • Prior experience working in the automotive finance industry or consumer finance industry preferred.

  • Experience in creating project plans and status reports.

  • Use and Configure JIRA as a Project Management tool.

  • In depth understanding of Project Management principles.

  • Strong communication skills, with ability to drive vendor to work as Hyundai Capital Canada expected, with ability to make business stakeholder understand.

  • Understanding of automotive finance environment.

  • Experience communicating and coordinating with vendors as a project manager.

  • Experience using JIRA as a Project Management tool and have ability to configure JIRA system.

  • Ability to identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies and experience with risk management.

  • Problem Solving skills with ability to address issues and challenges.

  • Full understanding of SDLC, data governance lifecycle, and software development practices.

  • Ability to work directly with subject matter experts, business stake holders, BA, developer to organize well-structured project.

  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner with limited direction and oversight.

  • Strong research, analytical, organization and time/Project Management skills.

  • Detail oriented with ability to maintain high levels of quality and productivity.
