IT Support Associate

Summary

Under the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Support Associate will support the organization regarding all aspects of IT support. This will include employee hardware and software setup and maintenance, asset management, administrative support of the network, helpdesk support and employee training. The IT Support Associate will support process initiatives to reduce manual work leveraging systems, as well as support other IT projects as outlined by the IT manager.

Job Duties

  • Ensure accurate employee setup for hardware, software and cell phones
  • Manage computer, printer, and accessory inventory including overseeing the refresh cycles
  • Provide Network Support as it relates to firewall, data security and other changes
  • Oversee the Help Desk Support ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Create and deliver training for the organization as it relates to Office365, Computer Basics, and Power BI
  • Provide input and guidance to the organization on how to leverage computer programs and systems, to streamline processes and reduce manual work
  • Support other I/T projects and initiatives as required including ERP System Implementations
  • Work includes extended time at a desk, and manual work in setting up I/T equipment

Qualifications & Skills

· College Diploma/Certificate or University Degree in related field is required; related/equivalent work experience may be considered.

· Must have a minimum of 5 Years Experience with MS Office.

· Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

· Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.

· High level of critical and logical thinking, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.

· Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.

· Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

· Experience with Lean Management is an asset.
