Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our members and guests.

Duties:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished

- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed

- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary

- Set up for banquets and events

Skills:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred

- Ability to effectively clean and maintain various surfaces and materials

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
