Jema Clinic - Medical Receptionist

The JEMA Clinic is looking to hire a Medical Receptioniston a permanent full-time basis.

JEMA Clinic is a small team that has been around since 2001. Our environment is friendly, fast paced and rewarding. We work with a variety of clients in providing a full range of travel and occupational health services such as travel advice and vaccines. We also offer vaccines for pneumonia, the flu and we provide TB testing.

What you will be doing:

• Schedule and confirm medical appointments and receive and communicate messages for medical staff and patients
  
• Read, review and respond to emails, phones calls, voicemails and faxes
• Interview patients in order to complete forms, documents and case histories
• Prepare client charts and filing using Jane Practice Management Software
• Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
• Prepare financial statements and billing
• Establish and maintain various internal office administrative support procedures such as document tracking and filing and monthly reporting
• Assist in ordering supplies and maintain inventory

What you will bring:

• Experience in working in a medical or clinical environment is an asset
  
• Must have a positive attitude, approachable and friendly with clients
• Experience using Jane Management Software would be an asset
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  
• Experience in customer service/client care role
  
• Demonstrated capability to multi-task and be adaptable
  
• A keen interest in a career in the health services

The Perks:

• $20/hr pay
• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Work Hours
• Monday to Friday
