Here we grow again! With a new building just opened in northeast Calgary and 5 more buildings planned for northwest Calgary, we're looking for a new person to Join our amazing Maintenance Team.

We are looking to fill a Maintenance Technician position that will help our team maintain our residential properties - it could be you!
The position of Maintenance Technician will be based in Calgary. You'll use your positive attitude and wide range of experience daily towards internal and external building maintenance. You will be responding to a wide variety of possible issues – inside the suites and on common property. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnosing a wide variety of problems inside suites – heat that is not working, electrical plugs not working, broken faucets, wall / paint / flooring repairs on tenant move-outs, appliances not working, cabinet / countertop repairs, etc.
- Diagnosing a wide variety of problems on common property – roofing shingle repairs, siding / soffit / fascia repairs, repairs to sidewalks, windows, landscaping, asphalt parking lots, doors, tile, carpet, sump pump failures. etc.
- Efficient and timely painting skills.
- Interactions with residents in a courteous and professional manner.
- Installing and re-keying locks.
- Assisting with landscaping maintenance and parking lot/parkade cleaning as required.
- Clearing snow and ice from walkways and parking lot, as required.
- Assisting with preventative maintenance inspections and reporting.
- Assisting in the management of inventory.
- Following safety procedures.
- Performing other tasks and/or general labour as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in building maintenance, construction, and general contracting is preferred.
- Demonstrated abilities diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of maintenance-related issues.
- Appliance repair experience is a definite asset.
- Professional, positive attitude.
- Good problem solving and communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently and effectively independently and in a team environment.
- Be reliable and trustworthy.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s License.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Comfortable and confident working within tight timelines.
- Possess a clean criminal record.
- Must be available to participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation for emergency situations.
