What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Director & Head, Client Onboarding and Account Maintenance, the Journey Lead is responsible for managing transformational initiatives impacting Clients & Accounts across RBC Wealth Management Canada (WMC).
Playing a strategic role, this individual will maintain close partnerships with Business Capability Owners, Product teams, Technology, Training, Communications, Change Enablement, and other Head Office partners to ensure the strategic alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.
What will you do?
Lead key strategic transformational initiatives.
Responsible for ensuring product roadmap capabilities align with Wealth Management Canada strategic drivers to create integrated advisor experiences.
Coordinate and work with a cross-functional team of business, technology, operational, vendor, and consultant groups to define "Minimum Viable Product" (MVP) for the transformational initiative.
Manage development of new features defined within transformational initiative: from concept to launch through the digital development life cycle; hand-off to Product Owner occurs once features are in production.
Collaborate with Program/Project Manager to ensure deliverables defined in each milestone are met or escalation/mitigation plans developed to resolve impediments.
Provides oversight and direction regarding change management activities, including user engagement, research & design, training, and communications to ensure successful implementation of transformational initiative; partnering closely with Capability Heads & Product Owners, Execution & Delivery, Experience & Design, Training, and Communications.
Keep informed of developments within other RBC product teams, business groups, operation, strategy and innovation teams to constantly seek opportunities to accelerate advisor experiences; conduct competitive analysis research to inform capability development and strategy.
What do you need to succeed?
Must haves:
5+ Years of industry experience (Wealth Management or Project Management)
Willingness / ability to be a people manager
Ability to work in-office
Nice-to-have:
Agile Project Management Experience
People management Experience
French Language
