Adecco is currently seeking a Full-Time Journeyman Electrician to join a prominent solar developer in Atlantic Canada, situated in Truro, NS. We invite applications from certified Journeyperson Construction Electricians who are eager to transition their career into the dynamic solar industry. - Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000/year
- Location: Truro, NS
- Shifts: Compressed work week with four 10-hour days (3 day weekends!)

- Read and Interpret Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural Drawings: Understand and follow blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment installations.
- Install Renewable Energy Systems: Install electrical infrastructure to be used for renewable energy systems, including solar photovoltaic, battery storage, generators and energy dashboards.
- Conduct System Testing and Troubleshooting: Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and to prevent potential hazards.
- Adhere to Safety Standards and Regulations: Comply with all safety regulations and building codes, and ensure safe working conditions and practices, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with Construction Teams: Work closely with other construction professionals, such as project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople, to ensure coordinated and efficient project completion.
- Document Work and Progress: Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress, complying with reporting requirements.
- Stay Updated with Industry Developments: Continuously update knowledge and skills related to electrical and renewable energy systems, building codes, safety regulations, and emerging technology in the construction industry.
- Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate is required
- Experience with medium and high voltage terminations
- Willing to travel throughout Atlantic Canada
- Willingness to lean and adhere to the highest standards of safety
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
