The Ideal Candidate

As a member of our Roofing team, you will be installing a variety of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will be:

• Strong understanding of a variety of roofing systems
• Participation in daily hazard assessments and weekly toolbox meetings
• Installation of specialized roofing materials and supplies
• Safely handle and store propane, torches, solvents, and adhesives
• Accuracy and organization in completing site paperwork
• Utilize clear lines of communication and treat others with dignity and respect
• Provide guidance and support to new workers
• Responsible for the safe use of all power tools
• Strong job planning skills and can easily change tasks as needed to complete the job
• Work within safety guidelines, and comply with WCB Safety Regulations

Requirements

• Red Seal Ticketed applicator with major commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO and SBS
• Driver’s license and your own transportation is considered an asset
• Can safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices and/or equipment
• Ability to work at various heights while adhering to safety protocols
• Can perform physical activity on regular basis
• Fluent in the English language and can clearly communicate with supervisors, clients, and co-workers
• Be able to follow and understand safe work procedures
