Dimensions
This position reports directly to the Maintenance General Foreperson. 
Purpose
-Responsible for troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on underground and surface stationary equipment.
-Responsible for compliance with OHSA, Corporate and PGM Environmental Regulations, Safety and Sustainability Standards.
-Responsible to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals both within the department and cross-department.
-Must be highly motivated, organized and must be capable of decision-making.
-Responsible for providing his/her own tools.
-Assisting in other works areas may be required.
Essential Duties
-Responsible for troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and performing predictive and preventive maintenance on underground and surface stationary equipment.

Training & Experience
-Must be a certified Industrial Mechanic-Millwright.  
-Good knowledge of compressors, pumps and hoisting plant including conveyance, ropes, loading stations and shaft work, rail equipment and hydraulic system such as rock breaking system.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
-High level of organizational skill.
-Be technically competent
-Willing to learn
-Basic computer skills are preferred.
Working Conditions
-This position is located at the Hoyle Pond site, part of Newmont's Porcupine Mine Site near Timmins, ON. 
-In this role, you will work a 4x3 schedule. As such, if you do not live near the site, we will require you to relocate
