Responsibilities:
- Coordinates inbound and outbound shipments
- Update and maintaining the appointment schedule.
- Organizes loads from the load builder.(Teal Ave. Supervisor)
- Create loads for outside carriers
- Confirm outbound appointments (D365)
- Create bill of ladings and packing slips
- Confirm completed loads are accurate
- Match up and print MTRs for all applicable loads
- Organize packing slips and MTRs for each load
- Email packing slips and MTRs to customers and sales as required
- Any outstanding orders for the load must be communicated to the supervisor for completion.
- Establishes loading times. .(Teal Ave. Supervisor)
- Interact with drivers and dispatch to ensure driver gets correct load
- Directs truck driver into our plant.
- Assigns the truck to a loader. (Teal Ave. Supervisor)
- Checks the driver out by receiving his signed bills.
- Monitors emails for customer pick ups.
- Creates pick list and BOL
- Receives material as per the PO (Teal Ave. Warehouseman)
- Creates inventory tags, provides them to the plant coil handler to apply to the bundle and perform the putaway.
- Communicate with sales reps if errors or short shipment
- Addresses any other issues through direct communication with the purchasing team or sales team.
- Answer calls/email and Teams messages from sales reps regarding order issues and questions
- Create bills for scrap, record weights and tares on bills
- Keep accurate details of trailers used for loads (Kim Tam)
- Timely problem solving and decision making. Submit IT tickets when required.
- Weekly maintenance of LPPA logs and spreadsheets
- Communicates with plant supervisors, warehouse personnel and load planners.
- Ensures best practices are followed.
- Follow and enforce Plant Safety Policies
- Balance shipping and receiving functions to best serve the customers
Quality System Requirements (Authority & Responsibility)
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality system
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- Control further processing, delivery, or non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
- Represent the needs of the customer internal functions in address the ISO 9001: 2015 requirements

Education and Certifications
- High School education or equivalent combination of education and experience
Qualifications
- English spoken and written.
- Intermediate PC skills
- Effective organization & interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of process and knowledge of related equipment
