Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client requirements
- Install structures and fixtures made from different materials such as wood, metal, or plastic
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Experience:
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Experience in concrete forming, masonry, siding installation, or other specialized areas is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
