The Position

Thermo Design Insulation Ltd is currently in search of a reliable Junior Project Coordinatorto assist in overseeing Construction Projects and their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible to assist with on-site coordination, organization, implementation and scheduling.

The Project Coordinatorshall perform such tasks, duties and responsibilities as are generally consistent with the role, such as:

• Providing assistance to the management team for all aspects of project delivery, including: tracking ordered materials, review and modification of shop drawing preparation, liaise with customers, point of contact with field personnel, and suppliers in order to perform the work within budget
• Assisting in quantification and estimating duties for new bids
• Generate project specific documents during construction process
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks pertaining to our scopes
• Ensure and enforce required standards for projects – including but not limited to: safety, quality management, document submissions, monitoring site progress, and close out
• Maintaining relationships with TDI vendors, and customers.
• Visit jobsite(s) when required and review the work progress
• Assist in the management of multiple projects as the same time
• Others duties as required to fulfill the role

Assets

• Proven working experience in construction management
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Familiarity with construction management software packages; Word, Excel, Bluebeam,

Procore, etc. Training will be provided for specific programs

• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Post-Secondary education in construction management or related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
