As a Data Engineer,
- you will be involved in developing and delivering data pipelines using various open source tools & technology.
- you will be working with a team of talented Data Engineers and have the opportunity to contribute to our data products
- you will work in an agile environment and will actively participate in all the sprint related activities including the demo
- you will be provided with opportunities to present your work to upper management (Director and above)
- Must Have Skills/Requirements:
- 1) Big Data: 1+ year of hands on experience
- 2) Relational database: 1+ years of hands on experience
- 3) Java/Python Programming: 1+ years of hands on experience
- 4) Setting up data pipelines using Java or any open source tool (Nifi preferred): 1+ years of
- 5) Kafka: 1+ years of hands on experience
- Nice to have Skills:
- Enterprise scheduler (AutoSys, etc.)
- orchestrating pipelines
- FI/Banking experience
- Agile experience Soft Skills:
- Hands on but leading the development (guide other team members, delegate)
- Strong communication skills
