FASTSIGNS SURREY is seeking a dynamic and motivated Graphic Designer who will work closely with our Senior Graphic Designer and Sales and Production teams and will be responsible for designing a wide array of signage and displays for customers.
FASTSIGNS SURREY will train the right candidates in learning the exciting Sign Manufacturing industry.
Create, design, and conceptualize sample layouts based on requests from customers.
Setup print files for production
Determine dimensional arrangement of illustrative material and copy and select style and size for sign.
Prepare layouts with 3D views and dimensions for clients review.
Prepare illustration and design of materials needed for estimating.
Provide documentation, detailed instruction, drawings and specification and notes for fabrication and installation requirements.
Take responsibility for juggling a hectic portfolio of art and design projects to meet tight client and manufacturing deadlines.
Work closely with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure designs are technically and esthetically accurate.
Maintain archive of images, photos or previous work for history and examples.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum1 years experience as a Graphic Designer using Adobe suite.
Solid Experience with graphic design programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and other design software
Precise proof-reading abilities with an eye for perfection
Knowledgeable about the effective use of topography, colour and visual space
Effective communications skills, with the ability to listen and persuade.
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment, multi- task and good time management skills.
Analytical thinking with very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Takes initiative, strong work ethic, can execute, and gets things done.
Formal training in Commercial Art, Advertising, Graphic Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field
English language abilities, both written and verbal.
