RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Field instrumentation and control system design and control strategy development under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Prepare technical documentation required for the execution of projects, including but not limited to: standard specifications, design criteria, P&IDs, schematics, loop drawings, instrument datasheets, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, installation details, control narratives, network diagrams, cable schedule, instrument list, equipment list
• Development and management of instrumentation and control system procurement packages
• Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs
• Assist in field engineering and commissioning on site as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field, from an accredited University
• Registered with or eligible for registration with APEGA as an Engineer-in-Training
• 0-4 years experience within the I&C/Automation engineering discipline
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team (office is very team based, so collaboration is key)
• Be available for field work as needed (10-20%)
