Junior It Project Manager

Adecco is currently seeking a Junior IT Project Manager to join our clients team for a 12–18-month contract role in Ajax, ON, offering a competitive hourly rate of $38-$40. As part of our esteemed client's IT Factory team, you'll oversee various IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. This role demands excellent communication, planning, and technical skills, along with a customer-centric approach.

• Plan, budget, and oversee IT Factory projects, including Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Workplace evolutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Lead local aspects of projects and report status to IT Factory PM Lead.
• Provide project guidance to IS resources on small projects.
• Coordinate creation of project deliverables and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
• Manage procurement plan and supplier relationships.
• Assist in creating training documentation and support model for project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
• Provide regular status reports and lead review sessions with stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, including risk management and change processes.

• 1-3 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Technical knowledge and ability to understand IT ecosystems.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
