The successful candidate must be competent with self-lead projects and have a high attention to detail.

Why LCO?

LCO Technologies is a green technology company with a small, hard-working, dynamic team. We care about our employees and have a strong culture of having fun, making jokes, but not being afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done. We allow staff to gain hands-on experience and value all creative ideas!

Our mission is to create a sustainable future for the oil and gas industry by reducing or eliminating Methane emissions from the upstream oil and gas industry. All while reducing costs, maximizing profitability, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Establishing controlled and standardized test environments
  • Assembling and testing your design
  • Compare test results to existing CROSSFIRE designs
  • Collaborating with team or contractors as needed
  • Optimizing manufacturing and assembly workflows in new warehouse
  • Reviewing existing part drawings and optimizing for commercial manufacturing
  • Establishing appropriate machine tolerances for all part drawings
  • Quality checking components received from vendors to ensure they meet our strict standards
  • Communicating with international vendors

  • Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations; and
  • A first-time participant in a YESS work experience program
  • Proficiency in CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Preferred skills, but not required:
  • Experience with 3D printers

  • Proven ability to be a self starter
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks
  • Excellent problem solving and documentation skills
  • Strong internal collaboration skills and business acumen

In return you will get:

  • The opportunity to make a difference in the environment. Every CROSSFIRE unit sold eliminates Methane emissions from the oil and gas industry.
  • To develop your skills and grow alongside a rapidly growing company
