What you’ll do:
The Performance Engineer forms part of the Commercial & Asset Management Team within Northland Power Europe and reports to the Director Asset Management at Northland Power Europe.

Key responsibilities:
Asset Management at Northland Power Europe includes, inter alia:

Commercial Management
Risk & Insurance Management
Performance Engineering
Asset-related Reporting
Support of projects under Development and Construction

The Junior Performance Engineer supports the performance engineering team of Northland Power, which deals with, inter alia:

Set-up, improve and work with models to calculate factual and contractual availabilities of assets
Prepare data of asset’s performance for invoicing to contractors, grid providers and other parties
Lead and prepare discussions with contractors, grid providers and other parties for performance related topics
Prepare and analyse operational asset data to identify risks and opportunities in relation to the technical and commercial performance of an asset
Support other functions in the projects with respect to performance-related data
Support development projects e.g. by implementing methods to analyze lifetime-related aspects of the assets
Support to develop and implement methods to predict lifetime- and performance-related parameters
Support interface to IT and SCADA team and implementation of smart performance monitoring systems
Prepare operational data for recurring performance reports
Analyse and report on asset’s performance and forecast to management and other project stakeholders
Support to the commercial team with respect to collecting cost and revenue information as well as providing commercial forecasts

As Junior Performance Engineer, you will support the team on the above mentioned tasks but also take on own responsibilities, especially in the area of performance calculation and reporting.

Qualifications and experience

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics or similar
Knowledge of the wind industry is beneficial
Good English skills; fluent in German.
Advanced Proficiency in MS Office, in particular MS Excel
Technical interest and numerical understanding

Please, note that this is not a permanent role. We offer 2 years´ contract/assignment.
