Job description:
Junior Program Officers help coordinate and implement important projects, services and programs. They also provide advice and expertise to help manage team resources.
Your work location would be one of our offices or bases in the Arctic. Please apply only if you are already living in, or willing to relocate to, the North.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting project teams by:
o arranging meetings and events
o drafting documents and reports
o taking meeting notes
o working with community partners
- Researching and analyzing information and providing recommendations to managers and project teams
- Developing strong working-level relationships with staff and partners
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Secondary school diploma or a combination of education, training and experience
- Experience preparing documents and/or planning meetings and events
- Experience working in the North or on Arctic-related files
- Enjoys working with people
- Strong decision making and strong work ethic
