Job Summary:
The Junior Property Manager will work with the existing team of Property Managers on the acquisition and integration of new multifamily buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the turning of all units (move outs, move ins, etc.)
- Managing all building related issues
- Ensuring top tenant satisfaction and retention
- Keeping contact with all various suppliers, technicians, etc. as needed and scheduling regular visits/inspections
- Coordinating renovation work with contractors
- Coordinating site visits with designers/architects for building plans
- Applying for all city permits and coordinating with the city for all work as needed with the Director of Residential Properties
- Arranging quotes for various work under the supervision of the Property Manager and meeting specialists on site as needed
- Going to the rental board as needed
Ideal candidate is:
- Friendly and optimistic
- Highly organized
- Interested in fast growing company/real estate
- Experience working in real estate is a + but not required
- English and French required, Spanish is an asset
