The Opportunity

We are currently looking to hire a Junior Recruiter for our People & Culture department in Edmonton, AB. This opportunity will be a full-time position. You’ll get to work with a growing organization that is integral in the care and connection of the youth in our communities, and you will gain valuable experience in the field of children services!


Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the Junior Recruiter is responsible for providing full cycle recruitment expertise for a broad spectrum of positions. You will effectively utilize existing recruitment tools and applications and provide innovative ideas to create and deploy best in class approaches to recruitment and candidate selection. This position partners with hiring managers to thoroughly understand and consult on scoping of positions, best approach to sourcing top talent and management of the entire candidate selection and related administrative processes.

As a Junior Recruiter in a high-volume recruiting environment, you enjoy working in a rapidly growing fast-paced setting where you’ll work with a wide variety of stakeholders in building the CarePros organization with superior talent. You want to be part of an organization that is caring for the youth in our communities. You can energize people through high-volume recruiting periods and are able to develop constructive and long-term relationships in a team first environment.


You possess the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive and diverse recruiting experience is required.
  • Post-secondary education in business, human resources, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated success in a high-volume corporate recruiting environment. Direct experience in Children Services or Healthcare is an asset.
  • Knowledge of, and proficiency in, Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) systems such as BambooHR or UKG.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and the Alberta Human Rights Act.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office products.
