Junior Sign Installer

Canada Trade Signs Ltd. is a growing company, looking for a high-performing individual who aspires to work and learn in an environment where they can help make an impact on delivering results. Our Sign Installers play an integral role in our team by being the front-line employees who represent Canada Trade Signs Ltd. in the face of the client. Working out of our Scarborough headquarters, our team must be professional in attitude and appearance while demonstrating a positive impression of Canada Trade Signs Ltd. It is imperative that our products are fabricated and installed with the utmost care and ensure we leave the client satisfied with their final product and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist in sign installation (training will be provided)

– Assembly of signs and/or repairs to existing signs

– Review work orders carefully and ensure that every detail of the job is understood - ask questions for clarification if instructions are not clear to ensure accuracy

– Ensure all deadlines are met in a safe and timely manner

– Work in diverse weather conditions and at heights

– Perform other duties as assigned or required from time to time

– Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner

Requirements:

– Successful completion of Working at Heights training

– Previous Sign Industry experience is an asset

– Good work ethic

– Experience with various hand and power tools

– Ability to work in a team and multi-cultural environment.

– Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
