Summary: Acting as an advisor, provide technical support to on site operations, write procedures for job scope execution and assist in the creation of bid packages.
Key Accountabilities
- Developing, cleaning, flushing, testing and other specialized procedures pertaining to pre-commissioning and maintenance services.
- Solve problems involving momentum, mass and energy transport, flow of fluids in piping, fluid mixing and fluids compressibility using the principles / technology of chemistry, physics, mathematics, engineering and related physical / natural sciences.
- Perform engineering calculations such as cleaning force ratio for compressible and non compressible flow, fluid velocity, volume and mass flow rates, reaction force, heat and mass transfer.
- Facilitate equipment sizing and provide recommendations.
- Conduct on-site field verification or procedures and redlines as required.
- Assist Operations with load out lists for job preparation.
- Participate in field execution to support operations as required.
- Collaborate with sales and Proposals to support RFQ.
- Support projects though cost tracking.
- Actively participate in all FourQuest Health & Safety policies and practices.
Education and Experience
- Degree in Engineering Sciences (Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum).
- E.I.T. Designation
- 2+ years field experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Engineering Services related to FourQuest Energy’s services lines is preferred.
- Working on client sites approximately 75% of the time. Due to the nature of work, requires a flexible schedule to travel depending on client needs.

- Ability to read & markup P&IDs, fundamental heat transfer, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
- Experience working with pumps, compressors, filters, etc, to troubleshoot for scope of work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Cost Tracking considered an asset.
