Junk Collector

Motel 6 is hiring for the Junk collector position under the 3rd party contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trash Collection: Regularly collecting trash outside from guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Sorting Waste: Separating recyclable materials from non-recyclables and ensuring proper disposal according to local regulations.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in all areas while performing collection duties.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while handling potentially hazardous waste materials.
• Reporting: Reporting any issues or irregularities observed during trash collection, such as damaged equipment or overflowing bins.
• Customer Service: Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner when entering guest rooms or public spaces for trash collection.

Working hours: 7pm to 9pm

Days: Monday to Sunday

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
