Responsibilities (Job Description):

• We are currently seeking candidates for two position for Math and Science classes tailored to JK-G2 and G3-5 (and possibly 6-7) students.
• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards and students' needs.
• Teach Math and Science classes, providing effective instruction and support.
• Assess and track students' progress in both subjects, offering constructive feedback.
• Conduct demo sessions and contribute to student recruitment efforts.
• Utilize standardized testing protocols for evaluations and reports.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on problem-solving assignments.

Key Competencies/Skills:

• Student Progress Assessment: Regularly assess and track students' progress in Math and Science.
• Enthusiastic Teaching: Demonstrate dedication to teaching and fostering a love for Math and Science.
• Educational Support: Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their understanding.
• Native English Proficiency: Preference for instructors with English as their native language.
• Vibrant Teaching Style: Bring energy and enthusiasm to the classroom to engage young learners.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Required for candidates with university-level coursework in natural sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Geography.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, or related field required.
• Willingness to offer in-person teaching is strongly preferred.
• Passion for Education: Dedication and genuine passion for teaching Mathematics and Science to young learners.

Job Location:

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Salary: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
