As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in need. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assistance with personal care, assisting with meal preparation, maintaining a clean environment, and providing home care services. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and have strong communication skills. PSW tasks include but are not limited to:
- Bathing assistance
- Mobility Assistance
- AM and PM Care
- Toiletting Assistance
- Medication Reminders
- Homemaking Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing the client's home
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Reliable and punctual
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
