Motiva Physiotherapy Studio is seeking a kinesiologist who is passionate about physical health to join our team. Motiva provides mentorship, education, and training for kinesiologists who have an interest in physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation.

Description:

Kinesiologists at Motiva Physio are integrated into the delivery of physiotherapy, working with every client at all stages of their recovery as a team with the physiotherapist and other kinesiologists. Kinesiologists at Motiva Physio do not work alone -- instead, our model is collaborative care with physio and other kinesiologists to facilitate teamwork, education, and improved patient experience.

Guidance and training will be provided in sports and orthopaedic conditions, rehab protocols, and physical therapy methodology, followed by ongoing support through working as a team with the physiotherapist and Director of Care. Training is also provided in administration, customer service, and funding models. Mentorship and support are provided for candidates who are planning or considering a future career in physiotherapy; this position is ideal for candidates with an interest in this area.

Requirements:

· Must have completed a bachelor’s or master's degree in Human Kinetics, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science. Applicants without this prerequisite should not apply.

· Field-related experience is an asset but not a strict requirement if a candidate has sound knowledge anatomy and exercise physiology to be the foundation for further training. Must be willing to self-study to fill identified gaps in knowledge

· This is a 'people-job'. Must excel at working with people and working in team environment.

· Additional consideration given to candidates with experience or competencies in customer service, personal training, social media, other skills that are useful for a growing small business. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
