This position reports to the Supervisor – Cleaners and Kitchen Attendants and is primarily responsible for a full cleaning and sanitization of the demonstration and teaching kitchens, and common areas.
Specific Tasks include – but are not limited to, and may change from time to time:
- Wash/disinfect worktables, cupboards, and appliances
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
- Unpack and store supplies in cupboards and other storage areas
- Sweep and mop floors and perform cleaning duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand
- Place dishes in proper storage areas
- Scour pots and pans and may clean and polish silverware.
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, elevators, student lounge and locker areas
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Other related cleaning duties as request by management
- Must be willing to work flexible hours (day and evenings) Monday - Saturday
- Responsible for lifting up to 25 lbs.
